I love to serve and take care of other people- it is my passion. From a very early age, I helped take care of my twin sister who was born with a non-life threatening birth defect. Since then I have walked through life with a servant’s heart volunteering through various organizations. When our family was relocating right after we were married due to my husband’s military orders, I knew I wanted to find a career that would allow me to utilize my passion and make a difference in other people’s lives. I love my job because it allows me to provide excellent customer service while using fast paced analytical thinking. I love numbers and puzzles, which aids me when putting together the best suited loan package for our borrowers because I want our borrowers to be happy and satisfied knowing that they are getting the best loan scenario based on their story, wants, needs, and goals.
“When one door closes, another one opens.” Ever since I can recall, I have loved everything baseball. It was my passion and I dreamt of a career in the MLB. I was living my dream and working toward my goals, but after playing in college and then a 3 year journey in Minor League Baseball, I knew it was time to hang up my cleats. While traveling and meeting people as a player in the Minor League System, I was fortunate to meet a man who introduced me to the mortgage industry. I am so grateful for those experiences because I have found my new passion, my dream career. It’s a team sport like no other and it takes a more than the infield to get the job done. There’s real team chemistry at The Holly Walther Lending Team so you better believe we’re ready to knock it out of the park!
I believe that home ownership is one of the top three events that happen in our lives (marriage, children, & buying a house). Not only because it is one of the best financial investments we make during our lifetime, but also because it is the “HUB” for all of our memories that we create with our families. I am truly honored to be trusted enough by our borrowers to have a role in making a dream of theirs reality. I also know that these major life events can be very stressful, especially all that comes with buying a new home. I have bought a few homes during my lifetime and bring my personal experiences to my mortgage loan processing. I strive to keep my borrowers informed every step of the way so they are knowledgeable about each part of the process ahead of time. I love to make that process as worry free and smooth as possible.
My interest in residential real estate started when, as a young girl, I accompanied my father on his remodeling jobs. I grew up immersed in the industry and fell in love with everything about the home buying process. As an analytical thinker who has always been drawn to puzzles, I naturally gravitated toward the lending side of the business. After 20+ years of competitive cheer, cheering in college at Columbus State University, and a 2x Silver Medalist at The Cheerleading Worlds, I wanted to explore a career in the gymnastics arena. While I cherish that part of my life, my passion today is in lending. The most gratifying part of what I do, however, is connecting with new people and the opportunity to educate them about the loan process. Born and raised in Woodstock, my greatest joy is the blessing of raising my daughter in the same town where I grew up. When I am not working, you can find me boating on Lake Allatoona with my daughter and spending quality time with our extended family.
In 1997, we purchased the 5th home in our 11 year marriage. I recall what it’s like to purchase as a young and scared couple just making enough money to grab a piece of the American Dream. I remember what it was like to move to a brand new city knowing no one and nothing about how to find doctors, churches, and good schools. I know that a conversation with a complete stranger can make such a difference and how a small and seemingly insignificant kindness matters. I want to hear people’s stories and I want to know about their families and their joys. I want to know what makes them smile and what makes them sad. I want to be that “someone” to another person that can make “moving” less challenging and less frightening. I want their Realtor’s to feel at ease and comfortable with me because as a seasoned Realtor, I, too, know how the seemingly insignificant kindnesses can make all the difference.
Throughout my life I have had the privilege to experience various different roles in the real estate industry. As a builder and developer, my husband worked one on one with families as they created the home of their dreams, and I had the pleasure to work with families to find their dream home as a Realtor. I know that first impressions make all the difference and that a warm, kind person can make a seemingly stressful time period a little lighter when navigating the homebuying process. I am thrilled to be the first person most of our buyers and realtors speak with, bonding and connecting with them on a personal level.
I have spent my entire life living in East Cobb and the surrounding areas and am so happy to be raising my boys in the same place where I grew up. I love that the sense of community in East Cobb has remained consistent over the years, even with the growth and change in the area. My husband of 18 years always says that I have never met a stranger and I believe that speaks to my personality. I love working with others and sharing my passion for bringing people and businesses together.
I am the classic “people person” and have always sought career opportunities that are customer-service driven. From a young age, I possessed a great enthusiasm for exploring new cultures, meeting new people, and seeing new things. After growing up in Alpharetta, Georgia, I embarked on a decade long adventure journeying the country and the world. Eventually, I settled in California where I managed a business in the salon industry and then had an exciting position in a start-up software company. Recently, I made the decision to come back home to Georgia to raise my young daughter. I am thrilled to start this new chapter where my family and roots have been patiently waiting my return. I feel tremendously blessed to begin a new career with The Holly Walther Lending Team and their unparalleled commitment to client service. I am excited to help people achieve their goals of home ownership and feel honored to play a role in an important milestone in their lives.
I am at my most comfortable and at ease when meeting new people. As the only child of Colombian born parents, I speak fluent Spanish and often acted as their translator and interpreter. It has always been natural for me to talk with people and really pay attention to the conversation. I know the importance of good communication skills. As the new Marketing Coordinator, I assist the team in making great marketing designs. I love the creative process that transforms fresh ideas into functional pieces that will best showcase the personality of Holly and the team. Organizing, strategizing, and putting the special touches on the work created (details matter), is my favorite part of my job. As a bonus, I have the unique opportunity of working in an industry that helps people achieve their dreams of homeownership. When I am not at work, you can find me advancing my education at Kennesaw State University, tutoring on the weekends, or hiking/camping/traveling with my husband.
I have always enjoyed working with clients, making new friendships, and helping them make their dreams a reality in every aspect of their lives. I was lucky enough to move to Georgia in my teenage years and have been blessed to live, work and raise my son in East Cobb. I have worked in every aspect of building new homes, remodeling and interiors, making your new house a home. I look forward to helping you make your dreams a reality.
I’m Daisy the Mortgage Dog, a tan and white Chihuahua. Although I may be small, I have a big personality and am very photogenic! I was born in Alabama and rescued by The Walther Family. I love spending time with my parents, human brothers, and animal siblings Louie, Hershey, Sophie, & Cleo!
