24 Mar Holly Walther Lending Team: “Where In The World Is Daisy?” Get Settled In Style – Week 4
Holly: Hey guys, happy Wednesday. It’s Holly and little miss Daisy. And we’re so excited. We continue our series here with my dear friend, April for the month of March with our, Where in the World is Daisy? She is the owner and the mastermind behind Getting Settled in Style. So, what tips do you have for us this week? It has been an amazing month thus far, and you keep solving our world’s problems. Or, at least my personal problems.
April: Okay, well, today we’re looking at drawers. And drawers are a blessing and a curse because you can hide things in drawers, and you can hide things in drawers.
Holly: Exactly. Just think of my junk drawer in my kitchen.
April: Yeah. We all have drawers, and why not use this spring to tackle your drawers? So I’d encourage you to open up your drawer, take a look inside, take the time to take absolutely everything out of your drawer. Give it a good clean, wipe it down, document, whatever it is. You want a fresh start, so empty at your drawer. And then you’re going to be thinking about three things. Do I want to keep this? Do I want to toss it, or possibly donate it, or do I need to move it? Because oftentimes with a drawer, things get put in the drawer and it doesn’t even belong there. So, keep, toss or move. That’s what you’re thinking about.
And then within your drawer, once you figured out what you’re going to keep, you want to find some sort of, we’re looking today at an office drawer, and you want to make sure the things that are at the front of the drawer or the things that you’re using the most often. So, you know, we have some sticky notes and then we’re going to bring in a little organizer to help us just look at the smaller items I love. You know, I’m all about the style. So I love things like even, you know, these style clips and keeping things, you know, in a style that you love. So things are organized at the front. You want the things that you use more often. And at the backs of your drawer, you’re going to have the things that you use less often. Because again, you want to keep it visible, accessible, and beautiful. Right? Have fun with your drawer.
Holly: It’s a great tip. And full disclosure. This is not my drawer. Obviously we are not in my office. We are in our dear Bella’s office and she is super organized. So guys, again, be sure to check out April’s information. If you’re like me and the thought of sorting, tossing, donating, and all that overwhelmed, you just call her. She’s giving you 10% off for the month of March with this cute little dog’s name, Daisy, and I encourage you to take full advantage of her services. We will see you next week.
